In mainland China, film capacitors are commonly referred to by type codes such as CBB21, CBB61 and CL21. This page lists the equivalent code for each DAIN series, to help buyers and engineers cross-reference parts.

“Equivalent code” means the same type of material, construction and package. It does not mean that voltage, capacitance or dimensions are identical to another manufacturer’s part with the same code; please refer to the datasheet when selecting parts.
FAQ
Are X2 safety capacitors and CBB62 the same?
CBB62 is a common name in mainland China for X2 safety capacitors, which are also widely called MPX or MKP. The corresponding DAIN series is MPX X2.
What is the difference between CBB61 and CBB65?
Both are metallized polypropylene capacitors for AC motors (IEC 60252-1). CBB61 usually comes in a square plastic case and is commonly used in fans; CBB65 usually has an aluminum case and is commonly used in air-conditioner compressors. DAIN’s MCB and MS3 are CBB61 types.
Are CBB and CL codes certifications?
